Ecology is a scientific study of the interactions among organisms, between organisms, and between them and their environments.
It shows how living things interact with eachother and how they interact with the place they live in.
The scientists who study Ecology are called Ecologists.
Ecologists are scientists who form hypotheses from the research they gather.
They test their hypotheses outdoors in the field as well as in the lab.
